how much a collector would pay for one of the first electronic chess game(1979/chess challenger"7") with box
Electronic Chess September 20th, 2008
If you're looking to win at chess, you need a few things. First, you'll most definitely need lots and lots of practice. Second, you'll need a chess teacher or a chess tutorial. This is actually much easier than it sounds, as there is a popular chess program that is available dirt cheap. It's just one of the things we dig into here at the chess board games blog.

original box /game cost $92.95 in 1979.i have cancelled check .

The name "Chess Challenger 7" should tell you it's not one of the 1st Electronic chess games.
There were 6 before it in the series, and other chess games around as well.
So while yours is from only 2 years after the Chess Challenger series started it's not worth that much, now if you had an original that would be different (there were only 1000 Chess Challenger 1s made).
