How many games of chess do you need to lose in under 10 moves before you throw the board against the wall?
Chess Board Games May 23rd, 2009
Welcome to the chess board games blog. We spend a lot of time talking about good chess around here: that is, chess strategies, chess tutorial offerings, and the like. But being fans of the game, we also veer into the less practical aspects. So if you're looking for a unique, quirky, or memorable chess set, we frequently highlight chess sets that are worth a look see. Whether you're looking to buy chess pieces or boards, you might see something you like.

Does losing board games get to you?
Having made bad moves with your pieces, now is not the time to consider making a bad move with the board. As every strong player knows, it is against your opponent you should throw the board, not the wall.

I learn everything by losing to those better than me and finally avoiding the same mistakes.

I don’t know how to play chess but I never throw the board against the wall with Trivial Pursuit, hubby always wins that.
I don’t get mad, I just get even.

Well, you should be able to avoid mate in 10 even if you can’t avoid mate in 25. It used to bother me, but then I just decided that I would learn what I was doing wrong. Play a chess program that has an analysis mode after you lose. Get involved with an online chess community and disect your games with some friends you develop. Look over the games of tops players and see how they disect them. You should remember that if both sides play perfectly, the game should end in a draw.
